River City Images is based out of St. Louis, Missouri, but travels all over the country on assignment.
I know that the name River City Images has only been around for a short time, but I've been a photographer for ten awesome years now! I've worked with some amazing people over the years and consider myself to be one lucky lady!
I'm Katie and I'd like to tell about about a few of my favorite things:
MONSTERS! I have two of them. A girl and a boy and they are awesome! MUSIC! All kinds, from Classical to hip hop and everything in between. YARN! I can knit, but I usually don't have time to. I still buy yarn. I have a serious fiber addiction. KARAOKE! Yes, I'm a Wednesday night rock star at Maryland Yards! Love it! DANDELIONS! I can't pass up a ball of dandelion fluff. It's just not in my nature. STORMS! The louder the better! Something about watching a storm reminds me of how little I am on this earth. It really helps to keep me grounded sometimes. BUBBLES! Yes, there is always a bottle of bubbles in my car. It's a stress reducer people! I promise! BOOKS! I have them, I read them, I love them. TREES! I'm a big fan of hugging them. I like to think that they hug back.
Some of the cooler things I've done in my life?
Flown to LA to do a photo shoot for Ford Motor company.
Had work published in a book.
Volunteered for NILMDTS and OpLove
Volunteer Photographer for St. Louis Mardi Gras Inc every year. Talk about a party! I love those guys!
